Character Background and Description Ryder is a 33-year-old male, standing at 6’2 and 140 lbs, with dirty blonde hair and light green eyes. He has a scruffy ginger-tinted beard and one pierced ear. Although most members of the tribe can be seen in battle gear and military grade outfits, Ryder can be found wearing outlandish t-shirts from decades past.
Ryder has worked at Fort McCoy as long as he can remember. He is a current weapons specialist and manages to “Macgyver” new weapons from the limited materials available. The only new materials they receive come from trade, mines, and theft. Ryder’s sole ambition is to avenge his Great-Grandfather’s death in WWIII. Ryder’s true birth father died before he was born. When he was discovered to be infertile, Brent Willow took him under his wing and became a father figure to him. Ryder grew up listening to Brent tell stories of the war and his desire to avenge his father. With Brent dying before achieving his goal, Ryder has decided it is now his job.
Despite Ryder’s rocky upbringing, he is a goofy guy who always has a smile on his face. He can also flip the coin and become quite solemn when working on challenging projects and weapon designs. His demeanor stands out from some of the other more stoic military personal.
Ryder’s greatest possession is a solar powered gam console that he created. Ryder only has two games for the console, Mario Kart 7 and Halo. The Military Tribe does not approve of such frivolous items and it remains hidden in Ryder’s workshop.
